The second event on 1st Aug 2015 is the Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake Launch at The Roof at the Chinatown Complex rooftop.  Initially, I was surprised that the event would be at the Roof at the rooftop of Chinatown Complex as I was wondering how Mercedes-Benz could bring the cars up.  When I reached there, I realised that the carpark was connected all the way to the rooftop and there was a restaurant called LePark.

At the registration counter of the CLA Shooting Brake Launch.

I got into the special guest list which entitled me to go into LePark restaurant for food and drinks, thanks to my dear friend, Harry.

Just look at the yummy food that was being served!

Let's take a look at the happening event in The Roof!

There was a live band concert to entertain the guests while we all chill out.

There were many stalls set up selling their specialty items or interesting stuff.

The highlight of the evening.... The New CLA Shooting Brake!

At first, when Harry invited me to this event, I thought CLA Shooting Brake refers to the car brake... hahaha!

Just take a look at this white magnificent machine!

The CLA Shooting Brake in grey.

I still prefer the CLA Coupe though cos the CLA Shooting Brake is a bit too huge for me to drive.

Overall, it was a fun evening of catching up with friends, car viewing, food and drinks!

Love,
Elaine Heng

1st August 2015 was an awesome day filled with events!

First up was Tom Ford Beauty & Fragrances Event organised by L'Officiel Singapore at Tangs Orchard Level 7, The Loft.  I love beauty events as I get to learn a lot on latest techniques on beauty stuff, which will help me tremendously in my business.

The presenter for that day... very well groomed and experienced makeup artiste (MUA) from Tom Ford.

Soft paper swatches in which the newly launched Tom Ford fragrances are sprayed on for us to test out.  I gotta say... I am in love with Tom Ford Private Blend Collections!  I find that it stands out as one of the best fragrances in the market, besides Chanel Chance and Bvlgari.  Smells refreshing as agreed by all of my friends.

A video clip of the Tom Ford fashion show, showcasing the fashion and makeup trends by Tom Ford.

Time for a makeup demonstration by the MUA.  He is very experienced in his makeup techniques and skills indeed.

I love how he explained the use of each cosmetics and his makeup demonstration.

He also explained the different usage of highlighters, blushers and bronzers but in a fun and engaging way.

I was seated at the front row and he stopped for a while for me to take a photo of this eyeliner... so sweet of him.

Showing how the cosmetics can be used on the legs to make them look flawless.

He also demonstrated on how to apply the hightlighter on the collarbones by asking my friend, Sara Shantelle Lim, a Luxury Lifestyle Blogger, to be the model.

The model showing us her finished look.  omg... She is super tall.

See... even the MUA had to stand on the platform to be as tall as the model... hahaha!

A group photo with the MUA, model and Sara.  It was such an informative and wonderful event!

Was invited by a friend, Pram, to check out the new Breathing Emergency II.  As I loved to look at watches, I was extremely excited to be able to attend this preview.

I was there early so I took the opportunity to take some photos of the watches on display.

A glass of champagne to drink while walking around to admire the watches.... this is life!

I spotted a watch that I like!  COLT with the pink leather strap!  The watch face is too big though but the store supervisor said there is a smaller version.

My makeup of the day. I love motives cosmetics from www.SingaporeMart.com!

Look at how the Breitling Emergency II watch was being showcased during the preview from the video clip below.

One of the two models engaged to work in this preview.  She looks like Celebrity Jay Chou's wife though.  And....This is the Breathing Emergency II watch!

Bumped into my babe friend Cicilia at the preview.  Love her dress and bag!

The other pretty model showcasing a Breitling watch.

Guests asking the watch doctor about the Breitling Emergency II watch and examining the watch in detail.

For me, I am more interested in this COLT but in a smaller watch face.  The pink leather strap is amazing, coupled with the diamond studded bezel!

Slightly big for my wrist but it is so cute!

Photo with a new found friend.  She is from Korea but has been working in Singapore for many years.

Just take a look at the amazing food and wine that were served that night!

With Ben, Yacht Broker at Simpson Marine (SEA) Pte Ltd.  He spends his working hours in ONE degree 15 Marina Club... so cool!

Met other friends like, Michael, Managing Director, Strategy from Temasek Investments and Kira, Managing Director of Foxtrot Fashion House.

Every guest was given a goodie bag with Breitling watch book and a nice cap.

I love the design on the cap very much cos of the angel wings!
