Media Preview: ALDO Builds Momentum with its Fall 2016 Campaign #ALDOMOVESME

As an international leader in fashion footwear and accessories, Aldo takes a fresh approach to its visual identity through a unique creative direction for its Fall 2016 Campaign. Exploring the concept of movement, this innovative campaign contextualises footwear and accessories within fashion; building inspirational looks that allow consumers to get inspired and translate into their own personal style. Aldo’s new Fall 2016 Campaign will live across all brand touch points including advertising, online, mobile, in-store, and through #ALDOMOVESME social media programme. 

Movement, as translated through collage, drives the concept for #ALDOMOVESME Fall 2016 Campaign. In this bold, fashion-first concept, Aldo sought out top fashion photographer Mikael Jansson, and stylist Alex White, to bring the campaign to life.

As a social media influencer/blogger and image consultant, I was extremely happy to be invited by ALDO Singapore and Media Flair Communications to get an exclusive sneak peek of its Fall/Winter 2016 Collection on 4 August 2016.

As I was there early, I managed to grab a photo with the very elegant Sarah Audrea, Senior Brand Manager of Montreal Pte Ltd, which distributes ALDO.  She is such a sweet friendly lady who made me feel comfortable, even though I was the first one to arrive.

The good thing about arriving early in a media event is that myself and my personal lifestyle events photographer has a chance to take a lot of photos before the crowd arrives.

Aldo Fall 2016 collection was unveiled to a crowd of trendsetters consisting of top fashion editors, industry insiders, and digital influencers, at LUMAS Gallery – an art gallery that houses an eclectic mix of contemporary photography pieces. With more than 40 galleries all around the world, in cities including Berlin, London, Vancouver, Vienna, and Zurich, it was an ideal space to inspire, excite, and showcase Aldo’s Fall 2016 Collection.

Sarah did a media walk through when most of the guests arrive and she did an awesome job introducing the different collections.

Overall, it was a great media preview that builds very exciting momentum for ALDO with the latest collections that satisfy every consumers' needs and desires.
