Style Magazine/Calvin Klein Underwear Event 11 Sept 2010

Was invited to do 2 talks for Style Magazine/Calvin Klein Underwear Event on 11 Sept 2010.  The first session was from 2pm to 3.30pm and 2nd session from 4 to 5.30pm.  For the first session, Style Fashion Editor will cover the latest CK underwear,Envy whereas for my segment, I will talk about fitting checks and shoes.  Was very funny as we did the sessions inside the CK Underwear store in Paragon.

Daddy and I reached Paragon by about 1230pm hence we walked around to source for our lunch.  Ended up in this Japanese shop that sells skewers.  Couldn't remember the name of the shop but it was Daddy's fav.  Definitely not mine cos I don't really like the skewers that much and we had all meat skewers and rice for lunch.

The shop has a small counter with seats so we decided to grab seats inside for our lunch. 

After lunch, we walked around Paragon as it was still pretty early.  There were a lot of shops selling cute bb items and clothes on 5th floor.  This picture was taken by Daddy from the 3rd floor.

We walked till about 1.30pm and went over to CK Underwear store.

Met up with Style Editor, May, Shi Ling and Shin Yee from CK.

May revealed that she was a lecturer with Republic Polytechnic before her current Style Editor job.

As Shi Ling mentioned that they didn't get any professional photographers for this event, Daddy volunteered his services and he became the unofficial photographer for the day.

The store was getting packed with people as we are about to start.

Sharon, Fashion Editor of Style Magazine, started the first session, going through the 3 different coverages and the latest lunch, Envy.

Sharon went on to talk about fashion trend and how it ties in with Envy collection in black.

The lovely model came out again, this time in a CK Jeans dress, looking fabulous!

Simply love this bra set in smoke colour, another one of Envy collection.

The model looked cool and poised despite so many pairs of eyes staring at her while she was only clothed with CK Envy bra and undies.  Very professional.

Sharon talked about wearing nude colour underwear underneath white colour shirts.

Chose a`grey top for my model to show how horizontal lines work to enhance the bust.

I love this white top on the model.  Makes her look so sweet!

Getting people from the audience to participate in my talk.  I always make my talk interactive so as not to bore the audience.

Daddy and I went down to Cova Patisserie on the first level of Paragon to have our afternoon tea while we wait for the 2nd session to start.

Finally, the royal high tea set which we ordered arrived on our table.

Daddy kept looking at the next table and wondered how come our Royal High Tea set is different from theirs.  I asked the waitress and she confirmed that it is the correct one.  We came to the conclusion that it is up to the chef to decide what to place on the platter since every table is different.

Total damage is about S$36 plus. 

My talk for the 2nd session from 4pm onwards.  Content remained the same, just different set of audience.

Headed to Daddy's office after work so that he can tie up some loose ends at work.  Yup, we worked on sats too!
