Gelish Manicure/Pedicure with Nailart Design at Nailz Treats on 31 Mar 2017

My last visit to Nailz Treats was on 27th Feb and it took me a while to make an appointment for my gelish manicure and pedicure as my gelish manicure was perfectly intact... it wasn't chipped off at all.  I didn't want to remove it as the nailart was nicely drawn but as my nails were getting too long for comfort and I had a photoshoot to do, I called the sweet lady boss of Nailz Treats to fixed an appointment on 31th Mar to remove my eyelash extensions and do gelish manicure/pedicure.

Even though the lady boss is running four Nailz Treats outlets, she is always so sweet to respond to me within a day to help me fix an appointment with her manicurists.  I'm so grateful to her and Nailz Treats manicurists for always being so supportive of my social media works and beautifying my nails so that I can attend events with super pretty nails!

We started off the manicure process by removing the existing gelish nail polish on the nails.

While one manicurist was busy doing manicure, the other worked on my toe nails.

My fingers were wrapped up with cotton pads in soak-off solution.

Afterwhich, remaining gelish nail polish was carefully pushed away.

Nails were filed to a length which I am comfortable with.

The gelish manicure process began with a solution applied to remove any oil on the nail bed so that the gelish nail polish could adhere better to the nails.

Looking at the number of different coloured gelish nail polishes, could you guess how my nail art will look like?

And the painting began, starting with the base coat.

Just take a look at the video which I took while the manicurist worked on my nails to create a 'marbled' effect!

And.... this was the final result!  It was my first time sporting this nail art design and black coloured nails as well.  Ain't this cool?

Eyelash Extensions and Gelish Manicure with NailArt at Vanity by Nailz Treats on 27 Feb 2017

I count my lucky stars that I am blessed to be able to work with awesome sponsors, like the lady boss of Vanity by Nailz Treats.  She is ever ready to help me check if there are slots so that I can drop by to do my gelish manicure/pedicure with nailart.

When I called a few days back, the sweet lady boss asked me if I wanted to do do eyelash extensions as well.  Since it has been a while after I removed the previous lash extensions, I decided to go for it again.

So here I was at the Bedok Mall branch.  I like coming to Vanity by Nailz Treats as the staff is so sweet and we can chat freely about anything.

Just take a look at the array of nail colours you can choose from.

And of course, my favourite spot in Vanity at Nailz Treats is definitely where the massage chairs are found... hahaha!

I love sitting on the massage chair getting a back massage while the manicurists work on my nails.

I did my eyelash extensions first before my gelish maniicure/pedicure.

Vanity by Nailz Treats has different options for you to choose from.  I always go for the 3D unlimited strands option with eyelash extensions that are shorter from the inner corner of the eyes and becoming longer when they are nearer to the outer corner of the eyes.  That way, my eyes will appear longer and more dramatic looking.  CC curl from 10 mm to 13 mm were used on my eyes to achieve the effect I wanted.

Saying bye bye to my original eyelashes.

I can't emphasize how much time I have saved from putting on makeup as I don't need to apply my falsies now... woohoo!

Here are some tips I saw at Nailz Treats on how to take good care of your eyelash extensions.  Very thoughtful of them indeed!

It had been a while since I did my manicure hence my nails are pretty long and I asked the manicurist to cut them short as I personally prefer my nails to be shorter.

The manicurist trimmed away my dead cuticles around my nails before applying gelish top coat.

 After which the manicurist proceeded to apply coloured gelish nail polish on my nails.

Guess what nailart designs I went with this time round?

Loving the musical notes that were painstakingly drawn on my nails.  The manicurist was very skilful to be able to draw them on my small nails.  Thanks so much!

Gelish Manicure with Nailart Design at Nailz Treats on 13 Jan 2017

Hey ladies,  it's time to beautify your nails for the CNY celebrations!

It was not easy to get an appointment as a lot of the ladies have already booked their slots with Nailz Treats but the sweet lady boss specially arranged for the Bedok Mall branch #B1-03 to open earlier so that I can do my gelish manicure with nailart designs.  Thank you so much for the kind thoughts and gesture!

Yes, I was the first person in the shop that day.  Simply love the massage chairs which give customers nice massages while the manicurists work on the nails.  Such a thoughtful gesture by the lady boss!

The manicurist chose the nailart design for me which was in line with the CNY theme.

And these are the colours which would go onto my nails.  See how sweet the colours are.  Guess which nailart designs I will be doing?

Shermin, the manicurist, proceeded to remove the previous nail polish from my nails, before pampering my nails by cutting, shaping them and removing the dead skin cuticles.

Look at how focused Shermin was in painting my nails.  I will die if I were in her position. I would probably make a big mess on the nailart design instead.

Yes, I had sweet pink flower design with sparkles on my nails for this CNY.  Didn't do the rooster design as it might be a bit too cutesy for me. (P/S: I am getting old... sigh.)

Eyelash Extensions and Gelish Manicure/Pedicure with Nailart Design at Vanity at Nailz Treats on 9 Dec 2016

The sweet boss of Nailz Treats texted me recently to drop by Vanity at Nailz Treats located at Bedok Mall, #B1-56 to try out their latest eyelash extensions using only 0.07mm, much thinner than the ones which I had on previously and yet the eyelashes would still look voluminous and fluttery.

As I would be travelling overseas since and having eyelash extensions will be much easier for me than to stick false eyelashes everyday, I was definitely going for this eyelash extensions to see the difference.

The eyelash extensions were glued onto my original lashes so the process will take a while.  Hence if you are looking at eyelash extensions, do set some time free and don’t set another appointment after your eyelash extensions, just in case the beauty therapist need more time.

Take a look at the before and after photo of eyelash extensions.  So much difference right?  It is going to be more convenient when I travel overseas in a few days time.  I won’t need to bring along my false eyelashes and eylash glue in my makeup kit and spend time in the morning putting on the false eyelashes.

After a few times of eyelash extensions, I already have in mind what I wanted – longer eyelash extensions at the outer corners of the eyes, shorter eyelash extensions at the inner corner of the eyes to give my eyes a more elongated and sexier look.

Besides eyelash extensions, I also did my gelish manicure and pedicure at Nailz Treats.  Since Christmas is approaching, the manicurists decided to do a Christmas theme for my nailart design. 

I really admire the manicurists for painstakingly draw out the designs on my nails. They need to be very meticulous in each stroke to get the design out on a tiny nail space.  I will die if I were to do that.

Can you spot the cute snowman and the reindeer on both my thumbs and the snowflakes on two of my fingers?  So cute right?

My feet were in for a treat as the manicurist scrubbed away my dead skin and cut all the dead cuticles away before painting the toenails with a Xmas theme too.

I love to do my manicure and pedicure in Nailz Treats as I get to sit on the massage chair and get a good back rub while beautifying my nails, without any extra cost at all.
